The Testo 315-3 CO and CO2 Monitor – Optional Bluetooth is a carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide tester available in two models. These models differ in that one is supplied with a Bluetooth module and therefore features Bluetooth capabilities, and one is not supplied with a Bluetooth module. The addition of a Bluetooth module allows the user to transfer measurements via Bluetooth, as well as via infrared. Both the OPTIONAL Bluetooth module and the standard infrared module can be used to facilitate a connection and transfer data to other compatible Testo instruments such as the 320-2 Flue Gas Analyser and Testo’s Turbo Printer. When used with the OPTIONAL Testo Turbo Printer it is possible to print reports on-site, thereby improving the testing efficiency
In all other respects, these models are the same. They both feature a highly accurate, electrochemical carbon monoxide (CO) sensor and a shock-resistant, infrared carbon dioxide (CO2) sensor. These modules enable the user to perform ambient measurements quickly, reliably and in compliance with the DIN EN 50543 standard.
This meter is ideal for simultaneously measuring CO and CO2 levels in heating systems and ventilation ducts. Measurements are indicated on the Testo 315-3 CO and CO2 Monitors’ easy-to-read display. The user is able to configure the Testo 315-3 CO and CO2 Monitors to include CO/CO2 alarms, if the limits of these alarms are breached the meters will issue an audible and visual alarm, allowing the user to quickly and simply identify out-of-range gas levels. These limits can be adjusted to suit the application.
In addition to measuring CO and CO2, the Testo 315-3 CO and CO2 Monitors can be used to conduct temperature and humidity measurements when used with an OPTIONAL temperature and humidity module.
The Testo 315-3 CO and CO2 Monitors are versatile, accurate and reliable meters. Adding to their reliability is their rugged casing, making the Testo 315-3 CO and CO2 Monitors suitable for use in an array of challenging environments. The Testo 315-3 CO and CO2 Monitors can also be used in conjunction with Testo’s OPTIONAL TopSafe Protective Casing which prevents water and dirt ingress.
Further to this, the Testo 315-3 CO and CO2 Monitors’ energy-saving lithium polymer rechargeable batteries also add to the testers’ practicality. These batteries, as well as the Testo 315-3 CO and CO2 Monitors’ Auto Power Off function, work to ensure that energy is preserved and is therefore readily available when the user requires it; these features also work to preserve the longevity of the power source.
Finally, the Testo 315-3 CO and CO2 Monitors are TÜV certified according to the DIN 50543 standard. They are reliable and accurate carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide meters that can be easily adapted (using OPTIONAL accessories, modules and instruments) to perform a number of additional measurements, such as temperature and relative humidity.
