Uniquely designed, the Testo 805i is part of Testo's Smart Probe series. This collection of Bluetooth-enabled testers and meters double as data loggers as they are designed to wirelessly interface with your iOS or Android smartphone/tablet via Bluetooth, with all measurement results wirelessly transmitted to your device for further analysis. Up to six individual Testo Smart Probes can be connected to the app at the same time for truly comprehensive measurements.

The Testo 805i is an infrared thermometer - it measures the surface temperature of an object without making direct contact with the surface itself. This thermometer has optics with ratio of 10:1, so you'll need to hold it approximately 10 inches away from a surface to get a measurement spot of around 1 inch (the integrated laser pointer makes it easy to line up a precise target).

This thermometer can measure temperature from -30 to 250°C.
