Testo 815 Sound Level Meter

Gain a precise, reliable measurement of sound with Testo's 815 sound level meter!

With measurement range from +32 to +130dB, resolution down to 0.1dB and accurate results within ±1.0dB (±1 digit), the Testo 815 is excellent for measuring sound in any application. It can be used anywhere; use it to test the noise your workplace, your home, combustion plants, machine noise and absolutely anywhere else.

For added precision, the Testo 815 includes a Fast/Slow button, allowing you to adjust the measurement time from 1s to 125ms (the faster speed makes it easier to identify a noise source). The frequency analysis can also be adjusted from A to C; the characteristic curve 'A' is designed to replicate the sound pressure perception of the human ear, while 'C' weighting is used to evaluate low-frequency components of sound.

With the help of an optional calibrator (sold separately) the Testo 815 can be calibrated on-site with a screwdriver. A protective wind cap is also included for the meter's microphone, allowing it to be used in outdoor conditions.
