This thermometer is used both for analysing temperature at a distance and can also be used to analyse the amount of moisture present in construction and building materials.
When using the device as a thermometer measurements are gained by pointing the 835-H1 at the target application. It will then shine a four-point laser pointer exactly where the device is pointing, allowing you to pinpoint exactly where you want measurement to be taken, even at a distance. This makes this product ideal for applications where it isn’t possible to get close to test temperature such as blast furnaces or extremely hot piping.
The Testo 835-H1 is able to measure temperature between a range of -30 to 600°C when using the infrared mode. This device also features the ability to attach a type K probe, which allows the device to measure surface temperature from -50 to 600°C. It can measure humidity thanks to the in-built humidity module between 0 to 100%RH with accuracy of ±2%RH.
