The Testo 871 Thermal Imaging Camera is ideal for measuring temperature and capturing error-free, comparable thermal images. As a result, this thermal imaging camera is ideal for applications such as:
- Detecting leaks
- Pinpointing thermal bridges
- Identifying structural defects
- Locating faulty components
This instrument is also suitable for assessing the damage caused by mould.
The Testo 871’s Bluetooth capabilities expand its scope for use, allowing it to be used with other Testo products such as the Testo 770-3 Clamp Meter and 605i Thermo-hygrometer (both sold separately). Measurement results may be sent between instruments via Bluetooth, allowing users to perform comprehensive and collaborative checks.
Furthermore, the Testo 871 Thermal Imaging Camera is capable of communicating wirelessly with the user’s smartphone or tablet via the integrated WLAN radio module. Using the Testo 871 Thermal Imaging Camera’s wireless capabilities and Testo Thermography app for iOS and Android devices the user can write, save and send reports as well as operate the camera remotely using his/her mobile device as a second display.
The Testo 871 Thermal Imaging Camera has an infrared resolution of 240 x 180 pixels with 43 200 temperature measuring points. Its resolution can be improved to 480 x 360 pixels when the Testo 871 is used with its integrated SuperResolution technology. This thermal camera is able to detect temperature differences as slight as 0.09°C and includes two temperature ranges spanning -30 to +100°C and 0 to +650°C.
Critical temperatures are automatically displayed as hot and cold spots on the image. Further to this, the Testo ɛ-Assist function will automatically detect and set the emissivity and reflective temperature while the Testo ScaleAssist function ensures that the thermal image scale is adjusted correctly. These functions ensure that error-free and comparable thermal images may be captured. These images may be saved to the camera as JPEGs and can be analysed on a PC using the Pro software.
Adding to this product’s accuracy is its IFOV warner which indicates the exact measurement spot on the display, ensuring that the user is always aware of exactly what it is he/she is measuring.
In addition to its thermographic capabilities, the Testo 871 Thermal Imaging Camera also includes an integrated digital camera which can generate a ‘real’ image in parallel to the thermal image.
Finally, the Testo 871 Thermal Imaging Camera is supplied with a carry case ensuring that it can be easily transported between worksites.
The Testo 871 Thermal Imaging Camera is a comprehensive, practical camera ideal for professionals conducting daily maintenance and installation tasks within trade and industry.
