This compact printer is connected to the user’s PC, Mac or Megger PAT400 Series Tester via a USB cable. Once connected, the printer is ready to use as it does not require software or printer driver installation. The Brother PT-P700 Professional Office Label Printer itself includes P-touch Editor Software that can be used on Windows and Mac computers.
Via a computer or Megger PAT400 Series PAT Tester, the operator can create labels using existing fonts, images, graphics and frames present on his/her PC/ Mac or tester. It is also possible to download a variety of label templates to a PC/ Mac from the Cloud.
The Brother PT-P700 Professional Label Printer can be used with a variety of labels in a range of colours and sizes (up to a 24mm width) and is able to create labels at a rate of 30mm per second. It also includes an integrated automatic cutter, adding to the speed and ease with which labels can be created.
Finally, this instrument can be powered using an AC adapter, AA alkaline battery, or NiMH battery allowing the user to tailor the Brother PT-P700 Professional Label Printer to his/ her preferences.
