C. Scope YIRS-33 General Purpose Sonde – 33kHz

The C. Scope YIRS-33 General Purpose Sonde is a battery-powered transmitter that issues a 33kHz signal. It is small, torpedo-shaped and hermetically sealed making it ideal for insertion into non-metallic pipes such as sewers, drains, and plastic gas and water mains. It can be screwed onto the end of a drain rod and then fed into a pipe.

The C. Scope YIRS-33 General Purpose Sonde can be used with a C. Scope Cable Locator in Generator/ Transmitter mode to trace pipes and/or find blockages. Depending on the type of C.Scope Cable locator used, and the site conditions, the C. Scope YIRS-33 General Purpose Sonde can find pipe blockages at a depth of up to 7m (23 feet).
