C. Scope YIRS-8 General Purpose Sonde – 8kHz

The C. Scope YIRS-8 General Purpose Sonde is a small, torpedo-shaped, hermetically sealed, battery-powered transmitter that can be used with one of C.Scope’s Cable Locators in Generator/ Transmitter mode to trace the direction of non-metallic pipes and locate blockages.

The C. Scope YIRS-8 General Purpose Sonde issues an 8kHz signal, and, depending on the site conditions and the C.Scope Cable Locator, can detect pipe blockages at a depth of up to 7m (23 feet).

The C. Scope YIRS-8 General Purpose Sonde can be screwed onto the end of a drain rod and then fed into a non-metallic pipe such as sewers, drains, and plastic gas and water mains.

The C. Scope YIRS-8 General Purpose Sonde provides a simple and cost-effective solution to determining the direction of non-metallic pipes and locating blockages.
