The C. Scope YIRSD-33 Duct Sonde is a small, battery-powered transmitter that has been developed in conjunction with British Telecom and can be used to trace the direction of ducts and conduits and locate blockages. It issues a 33kHz signal.

The C. Scope YIRSD-33 Duct Sonde is smaller in diameter than standard-sized sondes, which are often too large to pass between cables when tracing electrical, telecommunication or cable conduits or ducts. The smaller C. Scope YIRSD-33 Duct Sonde will not snag while in the duct or conduit.

The C. Scope YIRSD-33 Duct Sonde is screwed onto the end of a duct rod and fed into a duct or conduit. It has the same diameter as a duct rod and is compatible with most rods.

Finally, the C. Scope YIRSD-33 Duct Sonde features a robust, weatherproof (IP65) design with resin sealed electronics. It is operated using a single AAA battery and includes a low battery indicator.
