Compact, light and made for use with CATU's insulated poles (recommended models are CE-4-21 and CE-75), this portable voltage detector is made for both indoor and outdoor use and can be used to detect voltage presence.
Once attached to a pole the user simply hooks the contact electrodes of the voltage detector to a measurement point. If voltage is found the detector will shine bright red flashing LED lights (which can be seen up to 20m away) and emits a powerful 60dB audible signal.
The voltage detector also includes the ability to carry out an operating check to ensure accuracy is maintained over a time period and is designed to resist the effects of impact, vibration and moisture.
This product is IEC-61243-1 compliant.
