Chauvin Arnoux CA5231 True RMS Digital Multimeter

This compact true RMS digital multimeter is ideal for use by electrical installers, self-employed electricians and other specialists such as those who work on air conditioning units.

The Chauvin Arnoux CA5231 is equipped for carrying out all basic electrical measurements; it can test AC/DC voltage (including LowZ voltage), AC/DC current, resistance and tests continuity and diode. Before testing, you can also use the built-in non-contact voltage detector to verify whether a circuit is live or not (if the screen turns red, there's voltage present).

Working in demanding environments? The CA5231 has built-in shockproof protection to ensure it can't be easily damaged and a large size, backlit LCD screen with bargraph display gives you comprehensive measurements whenever you need them.

Thanks to its true RMS mode, the CA5231 maintains its accuracy, even when testing on irregular AC waveforms. This unit also comes with a selection of additional features including auto or manual range selection, display hold (freezes the currrent value on the screen) and IP54 protection against dust and water splashes.
