Chauvin Arnoux CA6471 Earth & Resistivity Tester

The Chauvin Arnoux CA6471 Earth & Resistivity Tester is effectively one piece of equipment that can do the job of four – it can measure earth resistance, continuity, coupling and resistivity. This earth resistance tester is capable of measuring up to 99.99 kilo Ohms of resistance, voltages of up to 65V, current of up to 40 amps and 1Hz of frequency resolution.

This earth tester is equipped with four colour-coded terminals in red, blue, green and black, which make identifying the correct terminal quick and easy. These coloured terminals also mean that you can easily manipulate the device into taking three-pole measurements, as well as the four-pole measurements it was designed for. Once measurements have been taken, they are shown on the screen, which is LCD and has a backlight for added reading comfort. Only one result will be shown at a time, but turning the dial on the right of the screen will allow you to see other results.

The Chauvin Arnoux CA6471 Earth & Resistivity Tester allows you to store up to 512 measurements at a time, which is ideal if you need to save your results until later. The earth ground tester is equipped with a USB port, and comes with special software, meaning you can transfer results to your computer and analyse them.

This meter also comes with two C182 clamps with safety leads, allowing you to take a wider range of measurements. Additionally, purchasers of this meter will be supplied with an external mains charger and rechargeable battery, and a carrying case.
