The Chauvin Arnoux CA6683 locates electrical cables, metal water pipes, and heating pipes in walls or floors. Its transmitter and receiver have backlit displays and adjustable signal power. The CA6683 identifies sockets, switches, breakers, and fuses on live or dead circuits, and can pinpoint faults.
The CA6683 includes voltage warnings, a silent mode, and a built-in torch. For complex installations, multiple transmitters can be used simultaneously, and the receiver can detect live conductors independently.
