It combats the usual problems of monitoring such materials with a magnet that secures it to the material for temperature monitoring, which is possible on a continuous basis. With thermo couple technology, the surface probe takes measurements that are very accurate, in a range of -50 to 200 degrees C.

The Chauvin Arnoux SK 19 Type K Surface Probe Magnetic 1 m -50450 C connects directly to a digital thermometer via a miniature linkage port. The functionality of the thermometer can then be maximised via use of the surface probe. It provides temperature readings in a quick time of seven seconds. At a small size of 14mm in diameter, it can monitor temperatures in very compact spaces.
