The FilesThruTheAir EL-GFX-TC EasyLog Thermocouple Data Logger can be used to measure and log temperatures between 0 and 200°C (32 and 392°F). It has the capacity to store up to 250 000 readings and can be set to record data at a rate ranging from once every two seconds to once every hour.
The instrument is able to measure temperatures between 0 and 200°C due to the included 1.5m, type-K thermocouple probe. However, the FilesThruTheAir EL-GFX-TC EasyLog Thermocouple Data Logger is able to accommodate other type-K, as well as type-J and type-T thermocouples with miniature thermocouple plug connectors. When used with the above thermocouple probes it has the following measurement ranges:
The FilesThruTheAir EL-GFX-TC EasyLog Thermocouple Data Logger is able to measure temperatures using the included type-K probe or any of the above OPTIONAL probes to a resolution of 0.1°C (0.2°F). The logger itself has an accuracy of ±1°C/ ±2°F.
Measurements can be viewed via the FilesThruTheAir EL-GFX-TC EasyLog Thermocouple Data Logger’s high-contrast, dot-matrix, LCD display. The logger also features an easy-to-use interface which can be navigated using the three buttons on the front of the instrument. Using these buttons the operator can access real-time trend analysis and data summaries, as well as the current and minimum and maximum temperature readings. The interface can also be used to reset the minimum and maximum readings as well as add an ‘event marker’ to the data which may be viewed at a later date using a graphing software.
Further to this, the three-button interface can also be used to stop, start and reset the FilesThruTheAir EL-GFX-TC EasyLog Thermocouple Data Logger.
Data can be saved to a PC by plugging the FilesThruTheAir EL-GFX-TC EasyLog Thermocouple Data Logger into a USB port and using FilesThruTheAir’s free EasyLog Software (NOT included) to download measurements. This software can also be used to graph, print and export data as well as configure the FilesThruTheAir EL-GFX-TC EasyLog Thermocouple Data Logger. It can be used to assign the logger a name, specify a logging rate and measurement unit, as well as program high and low alarms. It is also possible to configure the logger to begin logging immediately; with a delated start; when pushed-to-start; or to when triggered by a specified temperature via this software. For a quick introduction to configuring this logger using the free EasyLog Software, please see the video below.
The FilesThruTheAir EL-GFX-TC EasyLog Thermocouple Data Logger is a versatile, adaptable and comprehensive temperature data logger. It is also designed for longevity and to this end is supplied with two lithium metal batteries which are able to power the FilesThruTheAir EL-GFX-TC EasyLog Thermocouple Data Logger for up to one year.
The FilesThruTheAir EL-GFX-TC EasyLog Thermocouple Data Logger is an easy-to-use instrument, ideal for measuring and recording a variety of temperature measurements.
