The FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-DTP+ Dual Thermistor Probe Data Logger features two external thermistor probes connected to the unit via a 160mm Y splitter cable. This design allows the data logger to measure the temperatures of both environments surrounding each of the probes simultaneously.
The FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-DTP+ Dual Thermistor Probe Data Logger has a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C (-40°F to +257°F). It features an accuracy of ±0.2°C / ±0.4°F (between -15°C and +80°C / +5°F and +176°F) and a resolution of 0.01°C/ 0.02°F. Measurements acquired by the FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-DTP+ Dual Thermistor Probe Data Logger are recorded to either a local PC or the EasyLog Cloud. Temperature readings are streamed to either location wirelessly. The data logger can be programmed to log readings at sample rates ranging from as frequent as every ten seconds to as sporadic as every twelve hours.
The configuration of the FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-DTP+ Dual Thermistor Probe Data Logger is conducted by connecting the data logger to the user’s PC and using the free EL-WIFI-WIN Software to set up the instrument. This software can be used to specify sample rates; the location to which data is to be recorded, either a PC or the EasyLog Cloud; as well as program upper and lower limit alarms. The FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-DTP+ Dual Thermistor Probe Data Logger will alert the user as to when these alarms have been triggered via an alarm indicator.
This software can also be used to facilitate a connection to the user’s preferred Wi-Fi network and/or the EasyLog Cloud. Once connected to the desired Wi-Fi network the FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-DTP+ Dual Thermistor Probe Data Logger can be placed anywhere within its range. Furthermore, if the Wi-FI connection is lost the FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-DTP+ Dual Thermistor Probe Data Logger will continue to record measurements (for a maximum of thirty days with a ten-second sample interval) until a connection is re-established.
The EasyLog Cloud can be accessed from anywhere via an internet-enabled device (provided it is connected to a Wi-Fi network). The Cloud can also be accessed via the EasyLog Cloud App. For a quick introduction to the EasyLog Cloud, please see the following video.

With regards to its physical design, the FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-DTP+ Dual Thermistor Probe Data Logger has been optimised for use in a variety of environments. To this end, it features an IP43 casing and IP67 thermistor probes.
Furthermore, the FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-DTP+ Dual Thermistor Probe Data Logger can be adapted to suit the application environment. It can be powered using batteries or a mains power supply (location-appropriate adapter required). In addition to this, the freestanding data logger can be attached to walls or surfaces using the included mounting bracket thereby preventing it from becoming a hazard and/or obstruction.
