Extech 380942 30A True RMS AC/DC Mini Clamp Meter

The Extech 380942 is an introductory-level true RMS clamp meter that's small in size and great for testing smaller, more difficult-to-reach conductors. The true RMS technology integrated into this meter ensures that distortion doesn't affect the readings taken by the meter.

Capable of carrying both high-accuracy and high-resolution measurements, the Extech 380942 excels despite its tiny size. In terms of measurements, this product can measure AC to 30A, DC to 30A, and AC/DC voltage up to 400V.

The jaws of this mini clamp meter are 0.9" (23mm) in size, which means they aren't suitable for use on larger conductors. Once attached to a conductor the device will relay information about the test to the device's 4000-count LCD screen as both a numerical reading and a representation on a fast 40-segment analogue bar graph.

The compact Extech 380942 clamp meter is designed to measure currents in the smallest of spaces. With its low-current sensitivity and small diameter jaw it's perfect for use in maintenance, electrical, HVAC, and telecom work, as well as in the home and on auto repairs. The 380942 is optimised to find problems where very low current variances exist which are easily missed by standard clamp meters.

Additional features of this clamp meter included one-touch auto zeroing, data hold function, and MAX/MIN recall display.

This clamp meter is EN 61010-1 compliant and CAT III 300V safety rated.
