Extech EX655 True RMS AC/DC Clamp Meter - 600A

The upgraded version of Extech's EX650 clamp meter with even more functionality!

This clamp meter's jaws open to 1.18" (30mm) and is best suited for use with smaller and medium-sized conductors. Both AC and DC current can be tested up to two ranges: 60 and 600A. This meter also functions as a digital multimeter and can perform AC/DC voltage, resistance, capacitance, frequency, temperature, continuity and diode.

Extech's EX655 main differences compared to the EX650 include an inrush current mode for capturing current surges during motor startup, low pass filter (LPF) for accurate measurements of variable frequency drive signals, DC zeroing mode and an LCD display with trending bargraph.

Additional features of this clamp meter include a built-in non-contact AC voltage detector with LED indication, a backlight for use in poor lighting conditions and even a built-in LED torch so you can see what you're working on in darkened areas.
