Containing everything you need for carrying out measurements of earth ground resistance, the Extech GRT300 kit is a must-have for any professional and allows testing of earth ground across four resistance ranges of 2Ω, 20Ω, 200Ω and 2000Ω (2kΩ).
Fully autoranging for ease of use and encased in its own protective carrying case, the Extech GRT300 both speeds up testing procedures thanks to automatic range selection and is protected at all times from harm during transportation or usage.
This digital earth tester also includes the ability to carry out 4-wire, 3-wire and 2-wire earth resistance testing procedures, with each lead connection assigned a colour for ease of use (the included leads are also colour coded). Selecting a test procedure is also easy; just make the connections, press 2P, 3P or 4P or ACV voltage and the tester will do the rest!
As well as standard measurements of earth resistance the GRT300 can also be used to carry out automatic I (current) spike checks, automatic P (potential) spike checks and includes the ability to measure AC earth voltage from 0 to 300V AC.
