Extech MA63 True RMS AC/DC Clamp Meter

The MA63 is the upgraded version of the MA61 clamp meter. Both meters are identical, apart from this instrument also includes the ability to test AC/DC current (the MA61 can only test AC).

Made for use in small applications, the MA63 has small jaw opening of 17mm to easily clamp onto smaller wires found inside electrical cabinets, automotive applications and anywhere else where current needs to be measured.

Extech's MA63 clamp meter is packed with functionality; this meter can test both AC and DC current to 60A and also includes a number of digital multimeter functions such as AC/DC voltage, resistance, capacitance, frequency, diode and continuity. A built-in non-contact voltage detector is also included, allowing you to verify if there's live voltage on a system before testing.

Additional features of this clamp meter include a 6000 count LCD display with backlight, true RMS for enhanced accuracy when testing AC, variable frequency control (used for testing variable frequency drive signals) and much more!

This clamp is CAT III 300V and CAT II 600V safety rated. Supplied as standard with a 1 year warranty from Extech.
