The Extech MO55A measures moisture in building materials using either pin or non-invasive pinless detection. The dual measurement methods allow quick surface scanning with the pinless sensor or direct measurement with the pin electrodes.
A high-contrast colour LCD with backlight provides clear readings, while display icons and an audible alert indicate increasing moisture levels. The instrument is suitable for checking moisture in floors, tiles, walls, ceilings, and under carpets, making it useful for building inspection, restoration work, and locating moisture after leaks.
