Extech MO57 Pinless Moisture Meter
The Extech MO57 Pinless Moisture Meter is a non-invasive, ball-sensor moisture meter capable of taking measurements to a depth of approximately four inches (100mm). It can determine the moisture in wood and other building materials, such as board, sheet rock, tiles, cardboard, plaster, concrete, and mortar, up to 99.9%. An audible alert beeps faster as the moisture level increases and icons indicate whether low, medium, or high levels of moisture are present. Additionally, a Data Hold function freezes the reading on the display.
This compact, easy-to-use ball moisture meter provides smooth gliding on hard or delicate surfaces. Additionally, the Extech MO57 Pinless Moisture Meter is equipped with a wrist strap, 9V battery, battery-level check, Auto Power Off function, and a measurement verification test.
The Extech MO57 Pinless Moisture Meter is ideal for measuring the moisture content of non-flat surfaces, floors, tiles, and carpets. It is, therefore, suitable for building restoration projects and analysing the after-effects of water leakage behind walls and in ceilings.
