Extech SDL500 Hygro Thermometer/Datalogger

This Extech environmental tester allows constant monitoring, measurement and datalogging of various different environmental conditions.

In total the Extech SDL500 can measure six different parameters: humidity, temperature, dew point, wet bulb, type K temperature and type J temperature. It can measure RH from 5% to 95%, temperature from 32 to 122°F (0 to 50°C), dewpoint from -13.5 to 120.1°F (-25.3 to 48.9°C), wet bulb from -6.9 to 122°F (-21.6 to 50°C) and by use of equipped type K/J probes it can measure -148 to 2372°F (-100 to 1300°C) for type K and -148 to 2192°F (-100 to 1200°C) for type J.

Measurements are relayed automatically through the tester's LCD screen at a user-settable sampling rate between 1 and 3600 seconds. The SDL500 also contains datalogging capabilities, making this an ideal tester for use in prolonged testing over a lengthy time period. Up to 99 records can be stored as standard on the tester's built-in memory, or up to 20M readings can be stored by inserting the included SD card into the unit. This information is then easy to transfer to PC and is stored in Excel format to eliminate the need for additional software to interact with captured data.

The SDL500 also includes a few additional features such as MIN/MAX storage/recall, data hold and an auto shut down function.
