The FLIR Si2-PD detects and analyses partial discharge (PD). With 124 strategically placed microphones, a 12 MP digital camera, and 8× digital zoom, the Si2-PD can locate, classify, and assess PD faults from up to 200 metres away.
The system is easy to use with a 5-inch colour display, built-in LED lights, and automatic frequency tuning. The Si2-PD provides on-camera severity assessments and PD classification, backed up by software-based analysis and recommended corrective actions.
