The FLIR ThermoVision CM Desktop/ Panel Computer Solution is an industrial computer with integrated condition monitoring software optimised for continuous monitoring of facilities. It is designed to be used with FLIR’s AX8 and A310 Thermal Imaging Cameras and is ideal for facilities that demand 24/7 uptime. There are four versions of this industrial computer available; they vary in regard to the number of cameras they are able to accommodate (up to four or up to nine) as well as the type of computer they can support, e.g. panel or desktop. This open platform industrial computer can be integrated into a range of systems including security and automation. The FLIR ThermoVision CM Desktop/Panel Computer Solution’s flexible software supports ONVIF as well as several different protocols from leading camera manufacturers. It also features an OPC client and supports Modbus/TCP which allows it to communicate with a range of I/O, PLC systems. Furthermore, the FLIR ThermoVision CM Desktop/ Panel Computer Solution includes advanced features designed to aid with integrating the computer into systems by reducing the time spent on developing and commissioning the system.
In addition to this, the FLIR ThermoVision CM Desktop/ Panel Computer Solution includes a full development environment for VMS and HMI/ SCADA which tailor the appearance and functionality of the computer to suit the application.
The FLIR ThermoVision CM Desktop/ Panel Computer Solution’s ability to integrate into industrial control systems combined with its compatibility with FLIR thermal imaging cameras enables it to record video and temperature data simultaneously. It is capable of continuous condition monitoring and hot spot detection allowing the user to monitor machinery continuously without the need for periodic manual scans, thereby maximising uptime, improving productivity and increasing operational reliability.
This simple-to-setup industrial computer can be configured to include a video wall and to provide a multi-screen solution for viewing of real-time images streams and temperature readings. In addition to this, the user can define events and customise alarms allowing him/her to find recorded video for a specific event quickly. The FLIR ThermoVision CM Desktop/ Panel Computer Solution also includes a trending analysis function.
