An upgraded version of Fluke's 353 clamp meter, this instrument includes extra measurement functions that aren't found on the lesser model.
The Fluke 355 features incredibly large 58mm jaws, making this clamp suitable for attachment to larger or multiple conductors at the same time. Once attached it allows the user to carry out measurements of current (both AC/DC) to a high threshold of 2000A.
Unique functions exclusive to this model include the ability to carry out high voltage measurements to 1000V true-rms, resistance measurements to 400kΩ and a continuity beeper.
In order to ensure measurements are as accurate as possible the Fluke 355 also includes a low-pass filter which smooths out the effects of noisy loads. This clamp meter also includes a backlit LCD screen, MIN/MAX and AVG measurement functions and the ability to store testing data on screen temporarily using the data hold function.
