The only clamp meter designed to measure 1500V DC systems, the Fluke 393 CAT III 1500V DC True-RMS Clamp Meter is ideal for checking solar arrays, wind power equipment, electric railways, data centres, and battery banks. Safety rated to CAT III 1500V and featuring 1500V CAT III insulated test leads, the Fluke 393 CAT III 1500V DC True-RMS Clamp Meter can take the following measurements via its thin jaw:
- DC voltage: up to 1500V
- AC voltage: up to 1000V
- AC/DC current: 999.9A
Furthermore, the Fluke 393 CAT III 1500V DC True-RMS Clamp Meter can measure DC power (displayed in kVA) and is equipped with audio polarity and visual continuity indicators. Audio polarity indication prevents miswiring. The visual continuity indicator turns the Fluke 393 CAT III 1500V DC True-RMS Clamp Meter’s digital display bright green, which is particularly useful when working in dark environments.
Moreover, as well as providing access to small spaces, the iFlex flexible current probe extends AC current measurements up to 2500A. The Fluke 393 CAT III 1500V DC True-RMS Clamp Meter’s thin jaw also facilitates access to tightly packed cables in combiner boxes.
Finally, the Fluke 393 CAT III 1500V DC True-RMS Clamp Meter is IP54 rated. It is an ergonomic, easy-to-use, safety-optimised clamp meter perfect for technicians working inside or outside in high-voltage DC environments.
