The HI-6421 Advanced Benchtop Meter for Dissolved Oxygen measures DO, BOD, OUR, and SOUR in fresh and saltwater samples. It has five unique viewing modes, Ethernet and WiFi connectivity, and an intuitive on-screen tutorial. The meter is available with either an optical dissolved oxygen probe or a polarographic DO probe.
The HI-7641133 Opdo optical dissolved oxygen probe utilises fluorescence quenching technology. It has Smart Caps (HI-764113-1) that lock into place and contain pre-loaded calibration coefficients, automatically transmitting data to the probe. The sensor's reference signal compensates for component ageing.
The HI-764833 polarographic DO probe has a platinum cathode with an Ag/AgCl anode assembly for fast response times independent of flow. The built-in thermistor sensor compensates for temperature variations and is suitable for test tubes and BOD bottles.
A built-in barometer allows for manual or automatic pressure compensation with multiple unit options, including mmHg, mbar, kPa, inHg, psi, and atm. Once a salinity concentration is manually entered, salinity compensation activates automatically.
