The Hanna multi-parameter photometers are developed for accurate wastewater and water quality testing. The HI-83314 supports 10 key water quality parameters with 20 programmed methods, and the HI-83399 supports 40 key water quality parameters with 73 programmed methods, including digestion parameters for COD, Total Nitrogen, and Total Phosphorus.
They have Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) analysis and nutrient monitoring. The optical system employs LEDs, narrow-band interference filters, a focusing lens, and a silicon photodetector with a reference detector.
The digital pH electrode input delivers precise pH measurements, and the electrode’s built-in microchip stores calibration data. A built-in thermistor in the sensing bulb ensures automatic temperature compensation for reliable pH readings.
The meters include an absorbance measurement mode for calibration verification using CAL Check standards. Five wavelengths (420 nm, 466 nm, 525 nm, 575 nm, and 610 nm) are available to develop custom concentration vs. absorbance curves.
