The HD Electric APT-1 Active Power Tester is a live line tester that can be used to check overhead, uninsulated conductors for the absence of full line voltage.
This instrument features an installed clamp-stick and can be used on uninsulated, overhead conductors with voltages ranging from 7.6 to 13.2kV (line-to-ground). When the absence of a full line voltage is detected, the HD Electric APT-1 Active Power Tester will issue an audible and visible alert.
The HD Electric APT-1 Active Power Tester’s flashing light and audible alert inform the user that the conductor’s voltage has been disconnected, making this tool particularly useful for ensuring worker safety whilst conducting maintenance and/or repair work on overhead power lines.
This practical, simple-to-use and effective live line indicator is powered by a field replaceable 9V alkaline battery.
The HD Electric APT-1 Active Power Tester is ideal for verifying the absence of voltage in overhead, uninsulated conductors prior to commencing necessary repair or maintenance work.
