The Kewtech KT5 Open Jaw Current & Voltage Tester can be used to detect voltage and measure current. It is ideal for identifying PEN situations.
The Kewtech KT5 Open Jaw Current & Voltage Tester can measure current up to 200A AC and supports voltage detection up to 1000V AC/ 1500V DC in three modes:
- Non-contact voltage detection with three sensitivity levels
- Single-pole voltage detection using either pole
- Two-pole voltage detection with an LED indication and LCD readout
Non-contact voltage detection is ideal for tracing hidden cables and approaching metal cabinets, whereas single-pole detection eliminates the uncertainty of non-contact voltage detection. Buzzer, vibration, and LED/LCD indications will alert you to the presence of voltage.
Kewtech KT5 Open Jaw Current & Voltage Clamp Meter
In addition to voltage detection and current measurement, the Kewtech KT5 Open Jaw Current & Voltage Tester includes a resistance and continuity buzzer with an adjustable threshold, phase rotation, and digital multimeter functions including diode tests and frequency. Results are indicated on the backlit LCD display; readings can be frozen on screen using the Data Hold function.
Finally, the Kewtech KT5 Open Jaw Current & Voltage Tester is IP64-rated and meets BS EN 61243 and BSEN 61010 CAT IV 600V. It features built-in probe storage, GS38 probe tips, and probe tip covers with noses that depress the earth pin in UK BS1363 socket outlets.
