Need to postively identify cables in high voltage applications? With Lee Vaughan's Mk V cable identifier, you can quickly and easily perform identification before cable spiking and additional work on HV cables.
Consisting of both a transmitter and a receiver, the Mk V injects an interrupted signal into the cable under test. The receiver at the identification point then picks up on this signal and gives identification of the results using audible and visual indicators.
The Mk V model is the upgraded, improved model model of Lee Vaughan's original Mk IV model. Additional features include:
Selectable Power Output - 4 times the power of the Mk IV
Additional Roving Coil - easy access to tightly bunched cables
Selectable Tone Options - modulated (1.6KHz) or continuous
Improved noise supression to minimise induced pickup in adjacent cables - makes it easy to detect the 'lay' of a targeted cables
