Megger DPM1000 Power Clamp Meter

Description

The Megger DPM1000 Power Clamp Meter is a combined power meter, harmonics meter, and data logger. It can be used to measure the following electrical parameters:

AC/DC voltage up to 1000V (measured using the supplied test leads)
AC/DC current up to 1000A (measured by clamping the jaw around the conductor)
True RMS resistance up to 100kΩ
Inrush peak current
Power: power factor, energy consumption, frequency, harmonics (up to the 25^th harmonic), total harmonic distortion, distortion factor, and capacitance (all measured by using the supplied test leads and clamping the meter’s jaws around a conductor)
Watt up to 1MW
Temperature (using the thermocouple probe provided)

The Megger DPM1000 Power Clamp Meter also offers diode tests and 3-phase rotation indication and features a non-contact voltage alert and a continuity beeper. It is auto-ranging and includes Data Hold, Min/Max and Peak Hold measurement functions.

Readings are displayed on the Megger DPM1000 Power Clamp Meter’s backlit LCD. Users can view all possible measurements at the touch of a button or by turning the measurement dial. When idle, the Megger DPM1000 Power Clamp Meter’s backlight will automatically switch off.

Up to 9999 measurements can be logged to the Megger DPM1000 Power Clamp Meter’s non-volatile memory at a rate ranging from every second to every 600 seconds. Data can be wirelessly transferred in real-time from the Megger DPM1000 Power Clamp Meter to a smartphone or tablet, with the Megger Link™ app installed (available for Android and iOS), via Bluetooth. The Megger DPM1000 Power Clamp Meter supports a maximum transmission range of 10m.

Finally, the Megger DPM1000 Power Clamp Meter has been designed to meet the requirements of BSEN 61010-1 CAT IV 600V for supply-side applications and features an integrated LED torch to enable use in dark spaces.
