Megger VF6 EX Hazardous Area AC Voltage Detector

Hazardous area (Ex) rated for use on gas platforms and other petrochemical environments, the Megger VF6 Ex Hazardous Area AC Voltage Detector is a non-contact voltage tester capable of identifying AC voltages between 12V and 1000V. It has two voltage ranges: Low (12-1000V AC) and Medium (100V – 1000V AC). A bright-red LED, audible alarm, and vibration warning alert the user when an AC voltage has been detected. The Megger VF6 Ex Hazardous Area AC Voltage Detector also features an integrated LED torch and is housed in a durable, rubber, over-moulded casing with a screw-on battery cover. It has a CAT IV 1000V safety rating and an ingress protection rating of IP67.

The Megger VF6 Ex Hazardous Area AC Voltage Detector is a rugged and reliable AC voltage indicator suitable for detecting AC voltages at socket outlets, switches, circuit breakers, fuses, cables, and luminaires. It can also identify live conductors, find a break in a conductor, and verify a blown fuse in a circuit.
