Small enough to squeeze into those tight spots such as inside electrical cabinets, the Metrel MD9210 is a versatile, high accuracy clamp meter that's great value for money.
The jaws of the MD9210 open to a maximum diameter of 26mm. It is capable of carrying out AC current measurements to 600A using the jaws, or - by the included test leads - can also measure DC/AC voltage to 600V as well as resistance, continuity, diode, frequency and capacitance.
Need to jot down a reading? Just hit the data hold button and the MD9210 will freeze the current value displayed on the screen. The screen is LCD, with 3-¾ digit, 4000 count display.
