The Metrel MD9226 True-RMS AC/DC Current Clamp Meter has a 35mm jaw and is suitable for system maintenance, power system checking, high-level industrial testing and high-level electrical testing. It can be used to measure a variety of electrical parameters including:

- True-RMS AC voltage up to 600 V
- DC current up to 600 A

This current clamp meter is also suitable for conducting diode tests and acoustic continuity tests. Moreover, the Metrel MD9226 True-RMS AC/DC Current Clamp Meter will perform automatic, non-contact electromagnetic field detection allowing the user to find and trace live conductors.
Additionally, the Metrel MD9226 True-RMS AC/DC Current Clamp Meter is auto-ranging and includes a built-in VFD feature which ensures that the instrument is capable of measuring true values in reference to frequency.
It is possible to retain the most current measurement on the Metrel MD9226 True-RMS AC/DC Current Clamp Meter’s backlit, 6000-count, LCD display by engaging the Data Hold function. The Metrel MD9226 True-RMS AC/DC Current Clamp Meter also includes MIN/MAX/AVG, Peak Value and Relative Zero functions, allowing the user to determine and view the measurement most relevant to his/her application.
The Metrel MD9226 True-RMS AC/DC Current Clamp Meter also includes an Auto-Power-Off function.
