The Metrel MD9235 True-RMS Power Clamp Meter is a small, portable yet comprehensive clamp meter that can be used to measure a variety of electrical parameters including:

The Metrel MD9235 True-RMS Power Clamp Meter’s true-RMS capabilities enable it to measure sinusoidal and non-sinusoidal signals accurately.
This instrument is also capable of performing acoustic continuity tests and is equipped with a kWHr (Kilo-Watt-Hour) recording function with memory recall. The Metrel MD9235 True-RMS Power Clamp Meter is suitable for system maintenance, power system checking, high-level industrial testing and high-level electrical testing applications.
This clamp meter has overvoltage protection ratings of CAT IV / 300 V and CAT III / 600 V and is equipped with transient protection designed to protect the user in the event of a lightning strike or during a switching surge of up to 6.5 kV.
The Metrel MD9235 True-RMS Power Clamp Meter’s ergonomic design means that it can be operated using a single hand and its slim jaws (26mm) enable it to access tight spaces. Measurements are viewable via the Metrel MD9235 True-RMS Power Clamp Meter’s display with large, easy-to-read digits.
The most up-to-date measurement can be retained on the display by engaging the Data Hold function. The Metrel MD9235 True-RMS Power Clamp Meter also includes a Peak Hold function which will indicate the maximum RMS value of the surge voltage or current. It is also possible to download test results to a PC using Metrel’s OPTIONAL software.
