The Metrel MD9272 TRMS Leakage Clamp Meter with Power Functions is an all-in-one clamp-on meter capable of performing leakage current and power measurements to a high accuracy.
In addition to accurately reading true-RMS leakage current, this meter can be used to detect current losses in the system as well as ascertain possible reasons for these losses. To this end, the Metrel MD9272 TRMS Leakage Clamp Meter is equipped with an Intelligent Loss Analysis function which consists of complex algorithms designed for this purpose.
Additionally, the Metrel MD9272 TRMS Leakage Clamp Meter includes a number of measurement functions making it ideal for electricians and engineers. These include:
The Metrel MD9272 TRMS Leakage Clamp Meter’s true-RMS capabilities enable it to conduct accurate measurements on sinusoidal and non-sinusoidal signals. Furthermore, when conducting harmonic tests, the Metrel MD9272 TRMS Leakage Clamp Meter is able to measure voltage or current harmonic components as well as a percentage value of the harmonic up to the 19th.
When measuring total harmonic distortion or power factor, the Metrel MD9272 TRMS Leakage Clamp Meter will display these measurements alongside other measurements on its dual display. The user can utilise the MIN/ MAX/ HOLD function to freeze the minimum, maximum or average measured value to the display. Furthermore, the Peak Value function allows the operator to view the peak value of the waveform or crest factor.
In addition to its extensive measurement capabilities, the Metrel MD9272 TRMS Leakage Clamp Meter is equipped with a shielded jaw making it suitable for use in noisy environments. It has a jaw size of 28mm.
The Metrel MD9272 TRMS Leakage Clamp Meter is a versatile, comprehensive, easy-to-use instrument suitable for a variety of applications including:
