Metrel MI 3109 EurotestPV Lite Photovoltaic & Electrical Installation Tester
The Metrel MI 3109 EurotestPV Lite Photovoltaic & Electrical Installation Tester is a PV tester suitable for carrying out checks on photovoltaic installations. It features all the tests required by EN 62449, as well as I-U characteristics measurements, calculation of STC values and power measurements on both an Inverter’s AC and DC sides (single-phase only).

Autotest
The Autotest function makes it easy to perform a complete set of tests according to EN 62446 on PV modules and strings at the touch of a button. The Autotest function supports:
- Insulation resistance between positive output and earth
- Insulation resistance between negative output and earth
- Open circuit voltage
- Short circuit current
Additionally, the Metrel MI 3109 includes STC (Standard Test Condition) value calculation, allowing you to compare measurements even if they were taken under different conditions. It also measures two voltage and current channels to provide efficiency calculations for both AC and DC parameters simultaneously. An optional PV remote unit enables simultaneous measurement of solar irritation and the temperature of the PV module.
The MFT provides a graphical representation of the I-U curve via its LCD. Up to 1800 test results or 500 graphical results with timestamps can be saved to the internal memory. Data can be sent to Android tablets and smartphones with the EuroLink PV app installed via Bluetooth. Alternatively, results can be uploaded to a laptop or PC for analysis, review or printing using the Metrel EuroLink Pro Software.
