Metrohm High Voltage Detectors (HVDs) confirm that high-voltage conductors have been safely de-energised before work is carried out. Covering system voltages from low-voltage applications through to extra-high voltage networks of up to 275 kV. Each detector is a battery-operated electronic contact device that provides immediate and unambiguous status indication. Voltage presence is confirmed visually through high-intensity LED indicators and audibly via a powerful buzzer.
Thresholds can be set in line with relevant IEC standards or specified to suit operational requirements where equipment is used across multiple voltage classes. All models incorporate a self-test function that can be performed both before and after use. Available in multiple voltage ratings, threshold configurations, and housing colour options.
