The Sonel MRU-200 Earth Resistance & Resistivity Meter is an earth tester that can utilise every measurement method to determine earth resistance. It is available with or without built-in GPS; please see the table below for further information.

The Sonel MRU-200 Earth Resistance & Resistivity Meter's ability to measure earth resistance using auxiliary electrodes and a clamp means the user can take multiple earth measurements; while support for the double-clamp method is ideal when it is not feasible to use electrodes. Additionally, the Sonel MRU-200 Earth Resistance & Resistivity Meter can measure interference voltage in power networks with a frequency of 16 2/3Hz, 50Hz, 60Hz and 400Hz. The user can manually select the proper frequency or the Sonel MRU-200 Earth Resistance & Resistivity Meter can be set to configure this parameter automatically.
Furthermore, the user can select the maximum measuring voltage (25V or 50V) and can enter the distance between the electrodes to measure the resistivity in metres (m) and/or feet (ft).
Up to 990 measurements can be saved to the Sonel MRU-200 Earth Resistance & Resistivity Meter (ten banks of ninety-nine cells). These measurements can be transferred to a computer via a Bluetooth or USB interface.
Finally, the Sonel MRU-200 Earth Resistance & Resistivity Meter also includes a battery-state indicator and a real-time clock.
