Suparule CHM600E Cable Height Meter: 6-wire, 23m Range
The Suparule CHM600E Cable Height Meter provides a simple-to-use, effective and accurate alternative to traditional telescopic measuring poles. Line operators working in electricity and telecommunications can use this ultrasonic meter to determine cable height, cable sag and overhead clearance of conductors.
The Suparule CHM600E Cable Height Meter has a maximum range of 23m and an accuracy of 0.5%. It can take readings for up to six cables or wires simultaneously.
The Suparule CHM600E functions by emitting ultrasonic bursts from its cone-shaped transmitter. Its integrated microprocessor then calculates the time taken for the ultrasonic bursts to be reflected back to the meter. This value is used to determine a distance measurement which is displayed in imperial or metric units.
To maintain accuracy and reliability, the Suparule CHM600E Cable Height Meter automatically compensates for air temperature. To this end, it includes a temperature sensor for measuring the air temperature. Moreover, as the Suparule CHM600E Cable Height Meter delivers consistent reliability in the field, it does not require maintenance or adjustment.
