The Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester can be combined with a variety of compatible Testo probes to measure numerous environmental parameters. Please see the video below for a quick introduction to the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester.
Up to three probes can be connected to the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester simultaneously: one Bluetooth probe (such as the CO₂, temperature and humidity probe included in this kit), one wired probe (such as the included turbulence probe), and one temperature probe with a type-K thermocouple connector (NOT included).
The Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester will automatically recognise each probe on connection and will adjust its parameters accordingly. When used with the aforementioned probes, the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester is able to monitor the air quality of indoor environments, such as offices, production areas and facilities. This instrument can also be used with an OPTIONAL hot wire or vane probe (NOT included) to measure volume flow.
CO₂ concentration, ambient air temperature, and humidity are measured and indicated in parallel via the large, graphic display. Wet bulb temperature, dew point and absolute humidity are calculated simultaneously when required, and the draught risk is determined automatically when the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester is used with the turbulence probe.
Furthermore, when the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester is used in conjunction with the turbulence probe it is able to measure turbulence in accordance with EN ISO 7730/ ASHRAE 55 even in low air velocities.
Temperature, humidity and CO₂ measurements can be conducted without long cables and up to twenty metres away from the Testo 440 as a result of the probe’s Bluetooth capabilities. This not only adds to the practicality of testing but also saves on space during transportation and storage.
The Testo Digital Bluetooth CO₂ Probe’s universal handle also adds to the practicality of testing as probe heads (OPTIONAL) can be used interchangeably with this handle, allowing the user to conduct a greater variety of measurements using less equipment. Additionally, only the probe heads need to be sent for recalibration, allowing the user to maximise the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester’s uptime.
The speed and simplicity of testing are also improved by the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester’s clearly structured measurement menu which facilitates quick and easy access to the required tests. When using the supplied Bluetooth probe, data can be saved to the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester by pressing the button on the universal handle.
Alternatively, the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester can be programmed to take and log measurements at specified intervals over the course of a measurement cycle.
It is possible to save up to 7500 measurement protocols to the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester’s internal memory. Using the supplied USB cable, this information can be uploaded to a computer for further processing in a CSV file. It is also possible to send saved data to print via Bluetooth and using a compatible Testo Bluetooth/ IRDA Printer (NOT included).
The Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester is an accurate, adaptable, simple-to-use environmental tester that can be used to monitor a variety of air quality parameters in offices, production areas and storage facilities.
The Testo (0632 1551) Digital Bluetooth CO₂ Probe with Temperature and Humidity Sensors can be used to conduct CO₂, temperature and humidity measurements up to twenty metres away from the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester. As this probe is Bluetooth-enabled, it does not require long cables to conduct these measurements, adding to its practicality and reducing the space required to store and transport the probe.
The Testo Digital Bluetooth CO₂ Probe’s universal handle includes a button which, when pressed, saves data to the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester via Bluetooth. It is also possible to program the Testo 440 to take and log measurements via the Testo Digital Bluetooth CO₂ Probe at specified intervals over the course of a measurement cycle.
The Testo Digital Bluetooth CO₂ Probe’s universal handle also means that it can be used with a variety of probe heads, allowing the user to conduct more tests with less equipment.
