The high-power Aim-TTi EX2020R Digital Bench Power Supply is a single-output, benchtop, laboratory PSU capable of supplying a maximum power output of 400W. It has a voltage output range of 0 to 20V and a current output range of 0 to 20A.
Constant Voltage or Constant Current
The Aim-TTi EX2020R Digital Bench Power Supply’s output can operate in either Constant Voltage or Constant Current mode; it features a mode indicator and automatic crossover.
Voltage levels can be set quickly and precisely using the coarse and fine analogue controls. The Aim-TTi EX2020R Digital Bench Power Supply’s logarithmic current control ensures low currents can be set accurately.
DC On/Off Switch
Preset currents and voltages can be viewed prior to connecting the load using the output’s DC On/Off switch.
Voltage and current data are indicated on the Aim-TTi EX2020R Digital Bench Power Supply’s large, bright, four-digit display. It has a fixed resolution of 10mV and 10mA, improving precision and preventing misinterpretation of readings.
In addition to a dedicated DC On/Off switch, the Aim-TTi EX2020R Digital Bench Power Supply’s output includes remote sense terminals with a dedicated switch enabling activation and deactivation: when the switch is set to Local, the remote sense terminals are deactivated.
The Aim-TTi EX2020R Digital Bench Power Supply’s remote sense terminals ensure true metering of the load voltage and precise regulation at the load.
Similarly, the Aim-TTi EX2020R Digital Bench Power Supply’s Mixed-Mode Regulation equips it with excellent line and load regulation, low noise, and good transient response. It also ensures that the Aim-TTi EX2020R Digital Bench Power Supply is able to provide performance comparable to that of a PSU with an all-linear design; to this end, Mixed-Mode Regulation combines high-frequency, switch-mode regulation and linear post-regulation.
To ensure compliance with the safety regulations of most laboratories, the Aim-TTi EX2020R Digital Bench Power Supply’s output terminal has been designed to accept 4mm safety plugs with rigid insulating sleeves. However, this terminal can also accept fork connections and bare wires, ensuring maximum flexibility.
Furthermore, the Aim-TTi EX2020R Digital Bench Power Supply’s output is intrinsically short-circuit-proof and is protected against external voltages and reverse currents.
