The Aim-TTi EX354RD Digital Bench Power Supply is a dual-output, benchtop, laboratory PSU with two four-digit meters and switchable remote sensing. It has a maximum power output of 280W, a voltage output range of 0 to 35V, and a current output range of 0 to 4A.
Dual Output
The Aim-TTi EX354RD Digital Bench Power Supply’s outputs are independent, isolated, and equipped with a dedicated On/Off switch. These outputs can be wired in series or parallel to provide up to 70V or up to 8A.
Both of the Aim-TTi EX354RD Digital Bench Power Supply’s outputs are intrinsically short-circuit-proof and are protected against external voltages and reverse currents.
Furthermore, to maintain compliance with the safety regulations of most laboratories, the Aim-TTi EX354RD Digital Bench Power Supply’s output terminals have been designed to accept 4mm safety plugs with rigid insulating sleeves. However, to ensure maximum flexibility, these outputs can also accept fork connectors and bare wires.
Remote Sensing
Each of the Aim-TTi EX354RD Digital Bench Power Supply’s outputs also includes remote sensing terminals which are essential to maintaining precise regulation at the load and true metering of the load voltage. Remote sense terminals can be activated and deactivated via a dedicated switch: when the switch is set to Local the remote sense terminals are deactivated.
DC On/Off Switches
The user can view preset voltages and currents before connecting a load using the Aim-TTi EX354RD Digital Bench Power Supply’s DC On/ Off switch. Each of the Aim-TTi EX354RD Digital Bench Power Supply’s outputs features an independent DC On/Off switch.
Constant Current or Constant Voltage Mode
Each of the Aim-TTi EX354RD Digital Bench Power Supply’s outputs can be set to operate in Constant Current or Constant Voltage mode with automatic crossover and mode indication.
Simple-To-Use
Voltage levels can be configured quickly, easily, and accurately using the Aim-TTi EX354RD Digital Bench Power Supply’s coarse and fine analogue controls. To enable low currents to be set accurately, the Aim-TTi EX354RD Digital Bench Power Supply includes a logarithmic current control.
Four-Digit Meters
Voltage and current data are indicated via the Aim-TTi EX354RD Digital Bench Power Supply’s large, bright, four-digit displays with a fixed 10mV and 1mA resolution. The Aim-TTi EX354RD Digital Bench Power Supply’s fixed resolution prevents misinterpretation of readings and improves precision.
Each of the Aim-TTi EX354RD Digital Bench Power Supply has an independent display.
Mixed-Mode Regulation
To ensure excellent line and load regulation, low noise, good transient response, and performance close to that of a PSU with an all-linear design, the Aim-TTi EX354RD Digital Bench Power Supply is equipped with Mixed-Mode Regulation. This combines high-frequency, switch-mode regulation with linear post-regulation.
Silent Cooling
Finally, the Aim-TTi EX354RD Digital Bench Power Supply utilises convection cooling making it entirely free of fan noise.
