Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester Description

The Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester is the most sophisticated model in Seaward’s Apollo+ Series. It is optimised for checking high-volumes of portable appliances in accordance with the IET 5^th Edition Code of Practice, as well as for performing health and safety checks.

It includes all the testing capabilities found on the Apollo 500+, including:

• Low current earth continuity test with zap circuit
• Insulation resistance
• IEC lead test
• Protective conductor current
• Touch current
• Load power/current
• Alternative leakage current
• RCD test
• Power socket test
• Point-to-point fixed appliance testing for earth continuity
• Point-to-point fixed appliance testing for insulation resistance

This instrument, like the Apollo 500+, also includes a risk-based retest calculator. Furthermore, the above checks can be organised into up to 100 customised electrical and visual inspection sequences.

In addition to this, the Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester includes a colour camera with a flash for capturing evidence of visual inspections, as well as a number of features optimised for health and safety applications, such as:

• A universal risk assessment tool: record hazards, calculate risk scores and plan and document corrective actions.
• Onboard reports for fire detection and emergency lighting

Photographs and test results can be saved to the Apollo 600+’s extensive internal memory; it has the capacity to hold up to 50 000 results and 2000 images. Results and images can be transferred directly to a USB flash drive, a capability that is unique to the 600+ model in the Apollo+ range.

In addition to this, it is also possible to transfer information to a PC via a USB cable or to an Android smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth. Software Compatibility

Bluetooth compatibility facilitates this tester’s ability to connect to compatible Android smartphones and tablets as well as Seaward’s Bluetooth 2D Elite Barcode Scanner and Test ‘n’ Tag Elite 2 Printer allowing the user to scan, read and print labels with QR codes containing information such as the asset ID, the site, the location, the latest test date, and the next test date.

Further to this, the Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester is also compatible with the Seaward PATGuard 3.4 Software with Time Manager (NOT included). This software can be used to organise data and images which can then be used to create professional reports. This software can also be used to generate invoices and manage teams of staff.
