The C. Scope YIRS-512 Metal Pipe Sonde is specifically designed to issue a low-frequency signal output (512Hz) that can be transmitted through metal pipe walls to the surface. This allows the user to trace the direction of metal pipes as well as locate blockages using a C. Scope Cable Locator.
When used with a C. Scope MXL4 Cable Locator, this small, self-contained, low-frequency transmitter can trace metal pipes and locate blockages up to 5m below the ground (depending on the pipe material and wall thickness).
The C. Scope YIRS-512 Metal Pipe Sonde is a small, self-contained, low-frequency transmitter optimised for use in metal pipes.
