The Di-LOG DL1098 combines wall scanning and laser distance measurement in one compact, versatile tool. Designed for property maintenance, construction, renovation and DIY applications, it can detect timber studs and joists, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, and live AC cables behind plasterboard walls, helping users locate hidden objects and avoid accidental damage.

The DL1098 has an easy-to-use interface with dedicated function keys, a clear TFT display and an audible voice alarm for straightforward operation. Its Auto Cal system automatically calibrates the scanner to the wall surface, while dedicated scanning modes allow users to select the material they are looking for. When detecting metal, the scanner can also indicate the object's approximate depth. The DL1098 also incorporates a laser distance meter with a measurement range of up to 40 metres.
