The single-signature Electrical Installation Certificate is a handy solution for installing electric vehicle charging points, especially for those who are working on just a single circuit. It makes the paperwork a lot simpler, cutting down on the number of pages by half.

Once everything is set up, it's essential to inspect and test the charging point to ensure it meets the standards outlined in BS 7671 and follows the manufacturer's instructions before anyone can start using it.

This certificate conforms to the model Certificate found in Appendix 6 of BS 7671: 2018+A2:2022. A copy of the certificate should be given to the person who requested the work.
