Everything you need for performing standard electrical checks in one package - Extech's MG320 is both an insulation tester and a true RMS digital multimeter.
The insulation tester function for the MG320 includes 5 test voltages - 50, 100, 250, 500 and 1000V - with insulation resistance measurement range of up to 20GΩ. The insulation tester also includes polarisation index (PI) and dielectric absorption ratio (DAR) measurement capabilities as well as a programmable timer, step voltage capability and a built-in comparison mode where the user can set PASS/FAIL values for insulation measurements.
As a digital multimeter, the Extech MG320 delivers consistent, accurate results even on irregular circuits thanks to true RMS built-in as standard. The MG320 can be used to measure AC/DC voltage to 600V, resistance to 20kΩ and also tests continuity.
Additional features of this combined insulation tester and digital multimeter include built-in memory storage for 99 readings (can be recalled on the meter), a backlit, 6000 count display with analogue bargraph, data hold function and automatic power off.
The Extech MG320 is CAT IV 600V safety rated.
